My Prison
Caught in this space in my chest,
Pain resides here,
It will not go away,
Even if I try my best,
The alcohol flows thru my veins,
Trying to resist this burning sensation,
I trusted you with my soul,
Spat it out is what you did,
I loved you,
Hell I love you still,
Your killin’ me,
My mind listens to my chest,
Curled into a corner crying,
Hair and blood in my hands,
Tears p*oling on the floor beneath my face,
Madness settles into me,
Making itself comfortable,
My primal screams ring out,
I want to hate you,
I cannot,
You have imprisoned my heart, mind, and soul!

it was a great expession of grief over the lost of an emotion as strong as love. it's ashame to have to say that many of us have been on that very path ourselves. but there's brighter days ahead. and life WILL one day be sweet again!!! -
