Blue
It's a color we share
Not ashamed to say that it's there
The hurt of lost love and the dispair
When good hearts are treated unfair
Blue
Its a color we know
Even in silence
that tears us apart
Though we try not to show

Blue
It's a color in a flame
Part of our soul
and so we know it by name
Though to some, all of life is a game
Blue
It's in the music we hear
It's in the lovelorn fallen tear
It's in our deelply held fear
and in the lonliness of nobody near
Blue
It's part of our soul
and we know it by heart
We feel it's meloncoly feeling
whenever we part
Blue
It's in the mountain peaks
and in your rose
It's part of our friendship
Not the color we chose
Blue
Blue are the skies
upon happy sunny days
when we're walking carefree
and catching the rays
Blue
Blue are the oceans
that give earh coolness and life
Blue is the tempered steel of a knife
Blue
Blue is the reflection of
the softness of your heart
Thanks so much for that part!
That soothes when mine falls apart
Blue
Blue is the beauty in you
That others see but you forget
Blue is learning to accept and not regret
Blue is the reason we met
Blue
Is the mellow soothing color
when I think of your friendship
which mends and doesn't smother
and the reason we sometimes miss one another
Blue
is a most rich hue
we've heard of "Royal Blue"
You know... blue looks good on you
You know you might be true blue!
Blue
Blue is there when I've got the blues
and sing "Baby, How Blue Can You Get?"
But you're as good a friend as I've met
Blue is the color of the ribbon you should get
Blue... today I just meant to wish you smiles
Forever a friend, happy to meet each time we get
Even long separations, and across many miles
None of it makes me forget
You're a wonderful person on whom I would always bet
Aways, I'm glad we met!
