The purpose of this site is to tell you more about aging. The National Council on the Aging, promoting the dignity, self-determination, well-being and continuing contributions of older persons through education, research, leadership and advocacy. The aim of this site is developing new knowledge, testing creative ideas, and translating research into effective programs and services that help community service organizations serve seniors in hundreds of communities.
