Robert why am I with you?
Why do you call me your Boo even though it's true
I'm sorry I hurt you but I don't really care
I miss the way you used to play with my hair

Famous Poets: Robert Browning
19.02.2005 by Archive
Born: May 7, 1812 // Died: December 12, 1889

Robert_BrowningEnglish poet, noted for his mastery of dramatic monologue. Browning was long unsuccessful as a poet and financially dependent upon his family until he was well into adulthood. He became a great Victorian poet, in his best works people from the past reveal their thoughts and lives as if speaking or thinking aloud. Robert Browning was born in London as the son of Robert Browning, a wealthy clerk in the Bank of England. In his teens, Browning discovered Shelley, adopting the author's confessionalism in poetry.

The Italian in England by Robert Browning (1812 - 1889)
06.12.2004 by Archive
That second time they hunted me
From hill to plain, from shore to sea,
And Austria, hounding far and wide
Her blood-hounds through the countryside,
Breathed hot and instant on my trace, -
I made six days a hiding-place
Of that dry green old aqueduct
Where I and Charles, when boys, have plucked
The fire-flies from the roof above,
Bright creeping throuoh the moss they love.

The Englishman in Italy by Robert Browning (1812 - 1889)
06.12.2004 by Archive
Fortu, Frotu, my beloved one,
Sit here by my side,
On my knees put up both little feet!
I was sure, if I tried,
I could make you laugh spite of Scirocco;
Now, open your eyes -
Let me keep you amused till he vanish
In black from the skies,
With telling my memories over
As you tell your beads;

Dear Robert
03.07.2004 by little_miss_butterfly
Dear Robert,
The very first timei saw your brown eyes, my heart fluttered and i became weak at the knees. The very first time you touched me i knew i was not dreaming. Your smile brightens the darkest of the days and i fall deeper and deeper into your arms. Around you i am speechless, silenced by your love and silenced my the gift i have been given.

Often I Wonder (For Robert)
26.04.2004 by Archive
Often I wonder, when I think of you,
Could these feelings I have really be true?

Is it right for me to want you as more than a friend?
Or will it somehow cause our friendship to end?

Robert

You ask me questions to know why I love you, the way that I do. Well here it goes.

I love how you make me feel when I see you, the smile on my face when you say "Hello" I love how I've never been mad at you not at all. I love that you are so sweet to me and that you would catch me if I were to fall.
