For you, Emily
23.06.2006 by GoLd
Maybe If you called,
We'd get somewhere.
Maybe if you realized your mistakes...
Instead of blaming me for mine,
You'd see theres a way.

My Friend Emily
11.07.2005 by Malissa
My friend the one who has never left my side,
In a couple of months, we'll be saying our goodbyes
Graduation is something we've looked forward to for a long time
but now we fear it and scared but we'll do just fine

Love you is what I do
I can't live without you
If what you say is true

You say you love me
Also you say you're afraid to hurt me
That's the reason your not with me
I don't care what you do

I'm waiting for you to talk to me
I'm waiting for you to be with me
longing for the deep look in your eyes
Because without you i'll meet my demise

I'll never mean you any harm

Famous Poets: Emily Dickinson
19.02.2005 by Archive
Born: December 10, 1830 // Died: May 15, 1886

Emily DickinsonEmily Elizabeth Dickinson was born in Amherst, Massachusetts, on December 10, 1830, the second of three children of Edward and Emily (Norcross) Dickinson.

With the passing of time, Dickinson's social life began to be carried on less through personal contact than through correspondence. Her letters, like her poems, display a witty and constantly stimulated mind expressing itself in effortlessly fresh and inventive turns of phrase. As she matured, she became increasingly aware of the gap between herself and her family in intellectual and religious attitudes.

I'm sorry for the Dead -- Today --
It's such congenial times
Old Neighbors have at fences --
It's time o' year for Hay.
