Cupid came down from up above
On Valentines Day and shot me with his wandering arrow of love.
With the first look my eyes spotted the man of my dreams.
He turned and stared at me,
Cupid, cupid with your arrows please answer me today
the shot did hit, it should have missed
please take the pain away
you hit me once before you know and it turned right
Poor sad Cupid cries for what he has done
Making restless souls was never in his mind
To unite was his only prime priority
Time nor blood was never his royalty
Why dear Cupid you do this to me?
Make my heart yearn so much forsomething that may not be
The wounds of your arrows bleeds me
If only time could see, I’ll be glad to bleed free

I took a walk into the starry night,
After you took me on that wonderful flight.
The rain coming down, soaking my hair,
I knew I had been hit by cupids flying flair.
cupid hath pulled back his sweetheart's bow
to cast divine arrows into her soul
to grab her attention swift and quick
or morrow the marrow of her bones be thick
with turpentine kisses and mistaken blows
