When she speaks, it’s clear as forever.
When she smiles, I can feel at ease.
When she walks, it’s poetry in motion.
But when she cries, she cries for me.
This is about, and for a friend of mine. Who at one time gave her daughter up for adoption. And the twenty year search, she went through to find her again...
So many years have gone by.
So many tears, that I have cried.
This is a poem for stupid people.
Believing that love will save the day.
Stupid things can happen to any body.
Who are willing to give their heart away.
Hell is a coming, so the holy men say.
All had better listen and try to change your ways.
The Four Horsemen are riding, to collect their dues.
This could be the end of days, and the end of you.
NO! We hear it a lot, as we go through our lives.
I heard it constantly, from both my ex-wives.
It’s the negative answer, a little two lettered word.
And the most powerful one, I’ve ever heard.
If you wish hard enough, it will come true.
I have made such wishes over you.
I wished that one day, that you would see.
Just how I felt, when you dumped me.
