Never The Same
Escape the earth in one single moment,
Lifting me up, avoiding the torment,
Slip from my senses, my body gone numb,
No worries no problems until sanity comes,
Flick from a switch a pull to a hold,
Enter your mind, ringing so cold,
We sit and we stare, wait for another,
Together we fly, yet we stay in the cover,
Feel the sound running through my veins,
Another one comes, never feels the same,
Free fall to the ground, my plane it must crash,
The painful fall from going too fast,
An echo closes in, lurks from the shadows,
Fallacy or reality, my mind I must battle,
Ripped from my senses I fall to the floor,
Broken am I, I fall from my soar,
Once again my hope I detain,
No light in my eyes and yet I remain. |  |
