I know its hard to bring something like that out to the open, but when you do it'll be good..just go for it and tell your family..they should understand love is something that u cant control and also to who it goes towards..just tell them and if for some reason your family doesn't accept your relationship with your friend you shouldn't care, for the most part, about what they think..you should do what you want and what your heart is asking for..hiding it will only make it even more difficult for you when you become older..i hope things work out for you the way you want them to work out.. =)

They are your family they will still love you no matter what they may not support the fact that your are lesbian because my family doesn't suppport me being BI but they know that is who i am and no matter what they say or do that will always be who i am and maybe if you tell them they will come around to the idea after time. All i can say is you should be true to who you are and not be ashamed or try to hide it because it is who you are. You also know your family and we others don't so you should tell them when you are ready for them to know but that is what little advice i have i really do hope it helps you and if you can keep me posted i would love to know how it works out..

I agree with thisismylifenow because its really true. I am bisexual but my mom didnt know. I once was in that situation before where i was afraid that they wouldnt accepted me. I was rite. My mom has known about me being bi for 2 years already and things have deffintly changed. At first she didnt accept the fact and wouldnt talk to me for 2 months. But she eventulaly came along and said "i dont like that your bisexual, but I still love you" Good luck. Let me know what happens
