Guide me through the tortured fields
of blood stained blades
and deflective shields
cruise with me, through the flowing currents
of red dyed waters
and lifeless bodies
sense the awakening of evil within
fury enlarged,
engulfed by pure sin
extensive pretence
formed by others' convictions
morals lost,
putrid fantasies emitted
excessive pressure
the tactics of men
to enforce cruel intentions
to fight not defend
the death of innocence
a symbol of the end
of a message created
to spite and offend
so reflect on the lives
lost to battles worldwide
wars spurned by greed,
 territory and pride
envision the souls
of those long gone
as they fought to rid the world
with all that was wrong
hush now be silent,
lets wander still further
and imagine a world
without war, slaughter, murder
hold close the memories
and cherish those days
of laughter and happiness
as they will soon fade
distinguished is love,
in love you are free
so come take my hand
walk with me!
