The Wait for Love

Many times I've told her.
Exactly how I feel.
Many times I have reassured her.
That yes in fact what I have is true.

She does not belive me.
When I tell of a love so pure.
Nor does she feel what I do.
But I sense that she does.
Deep inside her heart she does.

Without trace of hope.
I keep on hoping.
Without reason to believe.
I keep on believing.
She will believe.
She will feel how I do.
She will know what I know.

Some day when she does I will be waiting.
Ready to be warmed by her heart once again.
