heart broken

She stands there with a smile on her face
inside she's crying and remembering memories
He has no idea how she really feels
even though she's standing next to him
She even tells her friends that she's moved on
Only a couple of weeks, still have the urge
the urge of grabbing him aside
show him that they can't go back as friends
It hurts her too much
No one knows that she still has dreams
Of him and her together forever
Her heart keeps telling her he'll come back
though her head reminds they will never be
Hiding everything from everyone
she will suffering in the inside
while she smiles on the out.
wanting to scream, "I can't do this"
now she is so afraid of getting hurt that badly again
her heart has been broken by a nobody
she can do so much better
but her heart is making it so hard
its wrapped around him even though
he's treated like dirt.
