Moments

we had some moments on this eve
some moments which I'd never believe
that I could encounter such wonderful bliss
just from a smile on a night such as this

whe had some moments on this night
when the dinner was nice and the mood was right
we shared conversation and even some laughter
and all the cares of the world seemed not to matter.

we had some moments in the moon's glow
with much to my suprise I began to know
how with one glance my soul was revealing
the extent and depth of this indescribable feeling

we had some moments that will remain
a pleasant memory that i will retain
memories unto which my heart will cleave
memories of the moments we shared on this eve.

sometimes moments are the only thing that we have left...we remember those precious moments more than the material
