Living Love

Sitting in my chair
writing about a love I've never had
Creating a false reality
that will make me glad
I strive to capture
this love that I envision
I detail every degree
with pinpoint precision
Why can't I embark
to this area that is dark
and possibly
light it with a spark
What I seem to lack
is a sense of bravery
as I continue to create
this worded slavery
Oh if only I was
courageous enough
to enliven my dreams
of this foreseen love
If these words could turn to passion
becoming my soul's primary ration
then my whole world
wouldn't seem like its crashing
I know that only I can change
this feeling of isolation
by seeking this girl
that will give my life animation
One day I will start to advance
taking my love in an endless dance
where we will finish the story
of the perfect romance
But if I intend to do this
I would need to change
and venture to a world
that to me, is strange
So I should give this pencil
my heart for a home
So one day together
they can write a true love poem

What yer got goin' on here?

Hmm.. slicin'n'dicin' up poetic moments and dishin'em out on a silver tray to onlookers...

Onlookers?

Bloody tourists, I'd say.

'Thing's that being a tourist in ye yer gray-matter noggin' seems to be quite a treat.

Aye, fer sure I take into account that as I read and am reviewing yer verse here, Fur Elise is being noted through me headphones, but after some consideration I've concluded that it's not Beethoven's magic contending here, it's yer words and poetic grace.

Nature and feeling-driven building of human characters blend perfectly to deliver something I call Poetry with a loud rattling baritone.

I wouldn't go too far, it's simple, but the efficacy factor is the most robust of 'Fairies have tails?' or 'Why love always fails' traits.

Description, outlining weaving of words.

Aplomb.

I understand your lines were delicate and nice to read, even though there's something about this which sounds like the walk-in-the-park reading spree, sort of self-help, but never at all losing the balance of depth.

Y' score, This one was clean, but I like poetic writes with crazy scuzz too.

Hehe

A pop quiz and then shooting answers for such self-questioning third-degree ups the ante, and gives it unique vibes--from the inner mind to sheer third-person eulogy, to remember.

While to some it could be viewed as a poetic's way to one-off another in the collection of poetry we see all around.
It gets to be introspective and candid at the same time.

I think I'm kind of fond to such a hat trick.

This is a sample of your flair, I can only hope, rather than a culmination.

Yeah, you've dished this one out, and it has what it takes to be one of love's more charming verses written.

Aye, fer sure it's that kind of poetry which finds a refuge in Poetry itself, a solace a few can afford to enjoy.

Thanks fer sharin yer thoughts of the heart, I liked it a lot.

Take care,

'Anna
