Every morning as I awake in my bed the room is silent and dark

Completely alone my only spoken good morning is a distant Dog bark

I set the alarm clock on radio so I can a hear human voice

I can listen to them speak, but I’m still alone, I have no choice

 Family and friends will call and we can have a talk

But they aren’t here so once again alone I walk

Their voices can keep me going from day to day

But why am I alone? Why doesn’t someone stay? 

No one comes for visits, or calls to go for a drink

I’m not a hermit or a mole, Is that what they think?

I just want some love and maybe a little affection

Talking hours on the phone isn’t my preferred connection

I want someone to hold and let them feel my passion

I’m trying to fight my loneliness, but my heart is crashing

If someone will just accept what my heart has to give

I won’t need to be lonely and happy I can live

Health and success can only carry my loneliness so far

I need someone to hold, please tell me where you are  

Before this madness destroys my heart and soul

Come find me: without you my life is not whole
