In Love\'s Conflict

A battalion of lies
Troops of deception
Thats all you gave to me
From this love's conception
I was a general on the front line
Warding of the pain
But your well trained sodliers
Made me half blind

I could no longer see
How the trap had been laid
A thousand valant hearts
Already in their graves
And I wonder how i could of been
So mislead by you
And how my army of eternal love
Could never of broke through

Alone in a prison cell
A room so far away
No sun, nor dark broken in
In solitude I must stay
Caught in this conflict
Between your lives and perfect love
Your lies where the needle
That filled me with the drug

I escaped but no without
The bruises of this war
I can still here the rattling
Of That porch door
The cries of desperation
That you never saw
Alone in solitude
Far away from this war
