This poem is dedicated to my wonderful boyfriend. I just want him to know that I really do love him.

I lie in bed beside you,
Your arm around my waist.
Whenever you're around,
I can barely breathe.
Everytime we touch,
My heart races fast.
When we lie next to each other,
All I think about is the future.
I know things will be good for us,
There's no doubt about it.
Yeah, I know we've had some problems,
But we had the heart to forgive.
You've always been there for me,
No matter what the case is.
The love I have for you,
It's simple.
It's from the heart,
But I can't put it in words.
You just have to know,
I mean what I say.
You are the one who lies next to me,
Who whispers in my ear.
The one who kisses me good night,
Who will never lie to me.
I know you're the one who hugs me tight,
And say "everything's gonna be alright."
You have that comforting voice,
Who makes me know I'll be okay.
I have faith in us,
I hope you feel the same way.
I never wanna let you go,
It would be the hardest thing to do.
I, however, will not think about that,
Because then I'd just be thinking a lie.
I've never been this close to anyone,
You, by far, are my favorite.
I was afraid to fall in love again,
But you made me see beyond the light.
You took my hand,
And let me to love.
You led me to your heart,
Which means alot to me.
Know that you are the only one who has the key,
The key to my heart.
I know you'll never break it apart,
Because when you say those three words,
I know you mean them.
Just like I mean when I say,
I love you.
