Help me help my father!

	My father is dating his long-time friend. I have nothing agenst them being together but my dad wants more out of their relationship. They are starting to hug and kiss because he talked to her and got her to agree to incressing the romance so they can eventually fall in love. I keep telling him that he needs to be more romantic and boyfriend-ish but he won't take my advice. I really want to help him be happy and I think she can make him happy. They are really cute together but they need a little advice. So if anyone out there can help me help them, please share your wisdom. Thank you for reading this! I hope you will give me some advice on my situation.

Just say "dad, you're blowing it". Just kidding..maybe work the new year/new beginnigs angle...are you sure he's really falling for her? He could be trying not to get too close because only he knows how he feels..ask him how he feels..if he's ready to move on..also point out what a great..

daughter he has, who want's him to be happy. Remind him of kids that make life for their parents new love really hard, and if that don't work, just maybe try the "dad, your blowing it"...good luck..Happy New Year..Polly

Thanks for your advice! I really appretiate it. He told me that he wants to fall in love with her but he isn't sure how far they will go in thier relationship. Thanks agian for your advice! Have a Happy New Year as well!!!!!
