I know a special woman A wonderful mother to her children A wonderful friend, I met along life's way I couldn't imagine life without her now not for one second, in each long day I've seen her heart, in her stuggle...we've talked but she makes no big deal and doesn't like to say but she longs for her mother in Heaven far away
My heart goes out to her and I give her love in my own way and she knows this, feels it and smiles because we help fend for each other In thought and spirit, if not day to day Not a moment goes by when I don't wish We could sit together sometime and share the moments in a day I'd surely give her a hug and a kiss before going on my way
But here's the thing I wanted to say Your mother somewhere is smiling At peace, and not so far away You can feel her a bit in the simple things I say She feels your care for her when you pray and is by your side and not in your way as you yourself tend to and mother your children the best you can, with love, as they run and play You mean so much to many; more than they say And most of all it means much to your mother Until you meet in peace again one day She's so proud of you! Happy Mothers Day!!
