Before I always knew how your heart felt

About home life or anything at all

When I know how you feel it makes me melt

When you stopped talking to me I went nuts

Making up my own answers

That’s no way to instill someone’s trust

Without talking I feel us slipping by

What a waste of love that would be

Tell please tell me you’ll try

Please don’t let me slip away

Talk to me no matter what

Even if you have something hard to say

I want to know all, the good, bad, and the ugly

I’m willing to be there for you

I want to hold back your tears with a hug so snugly

Nothing you can say will make me love you less

Because this is true love

I hope this poem helps with the stress

Communication is essential

Who knows that better than you and I

Our relationship needs it to reach its potential

Just a promise of open communication is all I need

That’s not much to ask
