Caught myself thinking of you,
Heard myself say your name.
I won't say what I know is true,
My feelings I must forever tame.
Don't think I'll be alright,
You have my heart,
So hold me tight.
Again let us start.

Caught myself thinking what's true,
Heard myself say it was lame.
I'm no longer in love with you,
I won't play anymore of love's game.

Quickly brought to reality,
Knowing you can't have me.
I have myself for stability,
Please let go, leave me be.

I won't think of you.
I won't say your name.
Away from you I grew.
I am no longer the same.
