I am a song writer and poet in Port Haywood Virginia. I was in Navy Band from 1975-79 and play guitar piano and bass and have a degree in music.
I work every day, at a dry cleaning store.
Pressin' pants and sortin clothes, and a whole lot more.
Dresses, pants, and blouses, skirts and worn-out jeans.
Sweaters coats and shirts in starch, they all come clean.
I fell deep in Love the day I met her. In
Blindness I felt she could do no wrong. I
wanted to be with that girl forever. But That
was long before I wrote this song.
I work five days a week at the liquor store.
Stocking the shelves and sweeping the floor.
On Friday night when I get paid I like to hit the road.
To a little place called feelin' good.
