Walking all alone she cries
No one sees her downcast eyes
And the rain starts pouring down
Her eyes still pointed at the ground
Many people pass her by
No one knows or sees her cry

A rose expresses so many things
That words could never say
They say I’m sorry when you are mad
And can brighten a rainy day

I’m sitting here smiling
As you talk to me
You say silly things
Seemingly small to you
But it still gets me
Still makes me laugh
Even if you don’t try
To do so
