On the last Monday of May the USA celebrate Memorial Day – the day in memory of Americans, fallen in the battlefield.

Mother’s Day
This holiday is similar to the International Women’s Day. It originates from the Victorian times, when small children started to work far from their houses and transferred all the money they earned to the family budget. That time they had only one day in the year to spend it with the parents. Usually they presented small gifts to their mothers and grannies - a bunch of flowers or eggs.
