your such a lie & a cheat

You said you would like me and that would never change
Then you met new friends and started acting strange
you were nice to me from the start
But then the school split us apart
You met new friends and left me out
From then on our relationship was like a summer drought
Dry and humid with to much tension
I did everything to dry to get your attention
Then that day came when you said you don't want to be friends
It was like I was a ford and you traded me in for a Benz
I thought it was just a phase and that it would soon pass
But it was like waiting for a bum to learn some class
Then came Valentines Day when I sent you that candy gram
It said I'm in love with you, and I am
You showed your friend at church
Then you sent him on a search
You knew it was me because my initials were on the back
So he came at me with a question attack
First he said your name then asked who went out with you last year
I said that I did once and i'm sure he could see my tear
Then he asked if I had a pool and that moment I knew
He said did you write the candy gram, did you?
I said yea I wrote it and he looked astonished
He asked me if I wrote it by myself, I said I found it online and couldn’t resist
Even thought I didn’t write it doesn’t mean it's not true
Because I still very much love you
