wildflowers and lilys

I've had this lavender wildflower for so long
I copied it to replace my photo on another site
and then I realized something by chance last night
about it I'd had to write, because it fit just right

You know by now, of you I am so fond
the one my heart runs to evermore and everlong
and as you just shared a favorite song....
my wiildflowers compliment the color of the lilys in your pond

Maybe somehow we belong....
