If its an old comment, don't worry or make an issue of it. Things like that happen. If its a new comment...it might be a bad thing. Think back to how you met him. Some things like that pass but its best to talk about it in a non-confrontational way. Confronting him will surely damage your relationship further. It is a sad thing and I wish you luck. But watch the way he treats you. Whatever the truth is, you'll eventually know it. It's sad and lonely when trust is broken. But still, its best not to jump to a conclusion.
