	these eyes once looked at you with love and adoration now all they find is pain and discontent how i’ve longed to see a glimmer of love shining from your eyes but all i see is disgust and regret i’ve stopped waiting i don’t trust in ever seeing it again so now these eyes will begin to look elsewhere for the better love i know i deserve. you once loved these eyes now you can’t even look at them. my eyes have not changed except to become older and wiser and more open to the world. but if the eyes are the mirror to the soul, i can’t even see your eyes at all.
