love at first sight

I looked around and found you starin,

but was it true or was dreamin.

You're with your friends and I'm with mine,

but it's fine if you stop by and talk awhile.

I stared at you for such a long time,

and I felt entoxicated by a potent wine.

Then you suddenly looked up and smiled,

I swear I could run a million mile!

You held my gaze and held it long,

and all of a sudden I heard this sweet love song.

My heart beat quiken and my pulse started to race,

I just stared at you and I felt dazed.

I don't know what to do, I don't know what to say,

the bows of Cupid are coming my way.

Realization dawned and I saw the light,

that my friend is love at first sight!
