This is good advice. But there are times if you listen carefully where rejection isn't what you think. Some who have been hurt deeply in their lives struggle to believe in love. They may feel you but may not move as quickly as you. In fact it may be their very love for you that scares them. If you love a person like this...follow your heart and not your head. Your head might say "leave" and your desire might say "I need someone to love now" but your heart may be saying "This is a special person to me....whom my heart cannot so easily turn from". If so, be patient, and continue to show love for them while trying to guard your own feelings a bit. Doing so, what you learn about love might surprise you (in a nice way). Because love is really you caring about that person as you wish them to care about you...and they might already care more than you realize..might just be struggling with it (as you said....well hidden). Now if they have outright rejected you and said that they don't love you...I agree with you completely.

yeah i agree with junglejim.... one of my bf's dumped me because he was scared of the love he felt for me... i know it because i can see it in his eyes and the way he acts.. but he won't admit it... the onily reason why he is like that is because of the way his gf befor me treated him... :(
