hope in us

just 2 weeks ago
we were sailing through the middle of nowhere
all i knew was that i felt so safe in his arms
he was holding me close and tight
and treating me just right
and now i am here thinking
how could i get so lucky to meet someone like him
the perfect one for me
but now hes gone, in florida
and im here alone ,in new york
its time to get back to reality, realizing
our time together has come to an end
i talk to him every night
and try to believe that well be together again
it just hurts to no that hes not here with me now
im upset and lonley
wishing he was here with me
but i guess it was meant to be
i met him for a reason
hell be back someday
at least i hope
