The abuse
Started long ago~
Emotional
Mental
You know how it goes.

Love was something
That was dangled
Used
Abused~
Not by one
But by many.

Over the years
My heart
My mind
My soul
Has taken note
You see~
The misuse
Has finally
Taken it's toll.

I live in darkness
Because of this
Light means nothing
Love is
No longer bliss.

The darkness
Is all mine.
You may enter
But don't
Get too close~
For if you do
My darkness
May consume you.
