i've tried all i can do for you but is it ever enough?

i've kept you close to me and kept safe all your stuff.

but in the end i tend to let you down over and over again.

i feel helpless and almost ready to give up

but i have to remember what you said "you never do enough"

i cry myself to sleep trying to find out ways to make you smile

i try to make you laugh cause it seems you haven't done that in a while

i go over the day in my head seeing what i could of done wrong

i may find nothing but you still feel like something doesn't belong.

i try to do everything but then you say i'm acting too "rough"

so once again it's like i'm never doing enough!

what else can i do. TELL ME ANYTHING!!

or are you just thinking of ways to keep me from standing??

i'll fall to my knees just so you can see

i'm not fake. i am something real!!

i don't lie just so i can feel!!!!!

you may think that i am just acting like someone tough

but i'll act like anything.. then will that ever be enough???
