confidence is it really there
or is it gonna vanish into the midnight air
leaving me here all alone, is this how its supposed to be
wondering how can she really love me

the moon its shining
look into the water you can tell its raining
which is real which is fake
got to do something cause this is all i can take

my self doubts, feeling paranoid
what can i do to turn this around
where are we going
because this distance is keeping me from knowing
