and then you came

My life was like a heavy cloud
Dark,dreary,sullen,full of rain
With sleet,and snow,with wind and hail
And then you came.

My heart was bitter,stony cold
Untouched by loves pure, sacred flame
with Naught to make it sweet light
And then you came.

Now lifes good and full of light
My heart now never aches with pain
Its flooded with sunshine and love
Because you came

Out of dark, you came to me
Out of hail,and sleet, and rain
Now my chaos is turned to light
Because you came.
