an angel is dancing

The lights slowly dims and I tap my feet with the beat,

the room was warm and I felt the heat.

It was after dinner and the party's starting,

the floor's full of people dancing.


I sat on the bench and watch them move,

they swayyed and grinned with the groove.

I felt pretty bored with nothing to do,

so I looked around and then I saw you.


Dancing and shaking the night away,

you're geting on til the break of day.

Having fun with your ladyfriends,

stopping only when the music ends.


I gazed at you and wondered why you

caught my eye,

then rolled my eyes heavenwards with a sigh,

"not again!", I groaned out loud.


People turn around and strayed at me,

I caught their gazes and shouted,"Peolple look! an angel's dancin!"
