the evil ones abused an angel
they tore out her heart and scarred her soul
this is her story that i now tell
about that sweet angel

it is so sad:her halo is bent
they,ve broken both her wings
her skin has lost its golden glow
her vioces rapsy now when she sings

the twinkle in her eyes has now gone
her smile is now a frown
her tears they fall just like rain
as she walks with her head down

she stops and looks up to the sky
at the stars so far away
then proceeds to bow her head
and begins to pray

"oh dear lord hear my cry,
look at me and see
have i done something wrong?
for them to destroy me?

did you put me on this earth
just to be used in such away?
to be hurt for no reason
each and every day

i used to try and hold them back
i did with all my might
but now i have just given up
i dont even try to fight

i am to weak to go on lord
what am i to do?
i cant stand this hurt and pain
and torment i go through

i beg you lord just hear my prayer
this prayer iv prayed before
just answer me this one question
why do they hurt me for?

then she finishes her prayer
and says a qwick "amen"
and then the tears begin to fall
and she crys all over again

it seems her prayers are never heard,
thats why she is so confused
oh god why dont you just answer her?
