"You Are My Friend"
You are my friend, if
you want to be, Even if you don't talk to me. Why must there be silence, when there so much to say?
I have wondered for
awhile,
why I have felt this
way?
It must have been
your smile,
That made it such a
brighter day,
Or perhaps it was
your thank you note,
that struck me in a
special way.
Please tell me that it's
wrong,
For having these feelings
that seem so strong.
I've tried and tried
to let them go,
but they
remain........out of control.
What else am I
supposed to do,
when all I think
about is wanting you?
Every day, I wonder
IF,
with hopes and
desires that go adrift.
My heart beats for
you, My eyes bleed for you, Oh, how I long to be your friend, I want to hold your hand and look into your eyes
and feel the
closeness once again I want you to take me, and make me as one with you: Let's be together, forever, and I promise to be true.
For if a hundred
years went by... My love for you would never run dry.
Why do I still feel
this way?
I must know all the
reasons why, but still I can't deny
I want you even more
today.
So what do you say?
I only wish you
wanted the same.
When you wish upon a shining star, just remember who you are, and make this one wish for me, because you are my friend, if you want to be.
I'm not perfect and
may never be,
I've made some
mistakes I admit regretfully,
But I kneel down
every day
and pray to God that
everything will be okay.
I'm your friend even if you don't need me I'm your friend even if you won't talk to me I'm your friend even if you won't see
me I'm your friend wherever we are In my mind and heart forever, you will
always stay my friend.
If you need help and comfort or just someone to be there for you, Just call me and I'll be there, because I am your friend.
Thank you-
I wanted to thank you
for all the things that you've done
for the people that
can't seem to have none.
I wanted to thank you
for the person that you are,
and even in darkness,
you shine like the brightest star.
I think of you as a
person whom I admire,
for your strength and
courage
and your honesty,
your friendly and
caring personality.
Thank you for sharing
your smile,
Knowing you is all
worth my while....
I want to thank you
for your kind gestures and words which mean so much to all who have heard.
Thank you for taking
the time
to share your world with mine. And the only way I can really thank you and show you how I feel
is to utter these
words which are written in steel.
Written
by "Harley Honey"
The flow of words are beyond my control,
Trying to fill the void of my lonely heart's hole,
In these simple poems I pour my soul,
Now I feel relief which is my goal.
