"The Letter"

Today, I opened my E-mail, and got a very pleasant surprise. I got an E-mail from this woman, who I see in my dreams at night. She was so beautiful. The pictures she took to send looked so sweet. There she was, standing there, with her hand on her one hip, looking as sexy as any pregnant woman ever could. There were other pictures of her, but that one with her hand on her hip captured the "true her" the best. She had a bright smile, that could light up the world if the sun failed to rise. Her face was so sweet, yet there was just a hint of her confidence peeking through. It's a confidence that says she loves me, but knows she is loved by me just as much. I loved each picture that she sent, especially the one where I could she her whole belly. The belly that is carrying our child. I know what she had to do to take those pictures. There are certain old ways that told her not to, but she did it anyway. That added something to the pictures I have so rarely seen in women today. Trust. Those pictures are for me to see, and nobody else, but she knows how much I like to show her off to people. As much as pride might make me want to show the pictures to the world, she trusts that I will fight that urge. I have honestly never seen a more beautiful pregnant woman. It makes me dizzy to think what she must be going through, with all the changes taking place inside of her, yet she still manages to look so attractive. She is facing all this without me by her side, but still she looks so confident. She knows I will be there when I can, for as long as I can. That is possibly the biggest compliment any woman has ever given to me. Her confidence, that I don't just talk about love and honor. I live it. It is part of me. I would sooner die, than ever betray her or our child. I am truly the most blessed man I know, having such a beautiful, wonderful lover. God has given me something that the richest man alive would gladly give all his wealth to have. It is mine, and by the look in my lover's eyes, it is mine forever. God bless and protect my lovely fiancé, and our child. The luckiest man alive, Jim.
