~I Am Sorry~

When I fell asleep last night...
I knew that your not going to be alright...
Living alone, in the cold of night...
Abandoned by hope, shivering in fright....
See the sadness in my eyes...
The tears dancing in my eyes...
But I won’t let them fall...
I remain strong and tall...
The trembling sorrow I can not hide...
The pain that is me deep inside...
It burdens my life beyond repair...
Causing me much grief and lots of fear...
Through the darkness and despair...
I see someone standing near...
It's visons of you still in my head...
Full of fear, full of dread...
My breathing is heavy without doubt...
I bleed of no cut, but only of my heart....
Yet I am sure that the pain I feel...
Could not be worse than what you feel...
Lots of pain yet I stand in front of you ...
I can barely talk with my beating heart...
I am sorry because I made you hurt...
I know I am better than none...
I am sorry for everything I have done...
The word sorry can't take anything back,
None of this will ever be forgiven & forgotten.
