A conversation between you and I,has been abandoned for so long.
You have been away for an eternity it seems,but still i continue being strong.
lately I have needed you,so i look at your picture and dig into the past.
and thoughts of you swim around my head but it all seems too fast.
I always forgot so many things about you,the small smile you sometimes portrayed.
The way you called me son or boy,even forgetting at times when we played.
sitting there together like father and son should do.
playing games on that old playstation sat right next to you.
You have missed out on so much dad,i feel bad that you are no longer around.
I often try to hear your voice in the winds breeze,but not a whisper...not a sound.
Its safe to say that I have always missed you, since the day i watched your eyes close.
The day my heart was torn apart...the day my life froze.

But I came here to tell you something dad,Its only when writing i feel a little more at ease.
I cant keep hoping to hear your voice scattered amongst the winds calm breeze.
I have dealt with what happened to you,but im so sorry it was the end of your life.
you had to leave your kids behind and my mum your wife.

Its been a while you know, I aint heard you mutter a single word.
Been a while since you sat with me, and calm my nerves when im scared.
You where someone to talk to,a father that always knew too much.
You where caught off guard dad,my hero that i can never touch.
Instead i'll touch your memory and think of the times we walked hand in hand.
i was just a boy in them days when we played softly in the sand.
I want you to know im smiling now dad,smiling for you and me.
Smiling of my future thats so bright , your fate was just destiny.
Never forget that each day your on my mind.
Forever loving you my strong hearted father,who's words i never seem to find.
