Your 2 Faces

You get around your friends and start treating me like crap
You try to get an attitude when I ask you where you’re at
It never fails that when I call and you are with your homies
You seem distant and act as if you don’t even know me.
When you start hanging out with them you start acting really strange
Like you ain’t got time for me seems your whole attitude undergoes change
Any other time you would be like “Hey baby! I miss you! I love you! How’s your day?”
When you get around the homies seems you have nothing nice to say.
You want to be cool and want to portray like you are Mr. BIG Pimpin’
I wish those homies could see how your other face is so much different
I try to remember that you are young and somewhat immature
Yet when you act this way it makes me uncomfortable and unsure
When I call you on your actions you say that I’m just picking a fight
I am fed up with complaining how your mood changes from day to night
At night when we are close and snuggled up in the covers
You whisper beautiful things in my ear about how I’m your only true lover
You say you love me, you say you need me you say I’m your wife
You say how much you are happy that you have me in your life
But soon as the sun arises and you are out hitting the streets
The things you said to me are left lying cold between the sheets.
I am frustrated with this cycle I am tired of this game
I am tired of how when you’re hanging out you can’t call me by name
Maybe I should start ignoring your calls while I am at work
Maybe I should start treating you bad and acting like a jerk
I don’t think that your’re able to fully realize
That when you treat me in this way some love I have dies.
