I’ve come close to facing desperation
Heading for a life that is so alone
Til an angel came to my rescue
That angel was you

I’ve been living in loneliness
Feeling unloved and unwanted
But you came and gave color to my world
Everything seemed to look new

I have been lying awake at night
For how many times have I wished to be held
Loved and wanted with all honesty
But always ended crying myself to sleep

Now I don’t have to cry because you’re around
I no longer feel alone coz you’re there
Now I can breathe freely and live with reason
For you’ve changed my life

How long will I have you, I do not know
Will I count the years, days and hours
How long will I be happy and never to be alone again
You’re the only one who can answer that.

How I wish it’s for a lifetime
How I wish it will never come to an end
How I wish you will be there ‘til my last breath
But it’s sad to say you’ll never be
