 | Every summer, my family and I take a trip to North Carolina. We used to fly, but after 9/11, we've taken a liking to driving for 19 hours straight. The summer of 2005 came and went in a flash, but I still wasn't letting Jon out of my head. I wrote this in the car on our way to North Carolina.
May 28, 2005:
As I gaze out the open window, All I can see is your face. I look down in fear, But look back, just incase.
I need you To be there. Because without you, It just doesn't seem fair.
But if you can't like me For who I am, Then I give up, And I don't give a damn.
