I wish

I could wait for you at the airport - I'd be the one with the balloon

I could be the one you call when you are on your way home - I'd answer

I could wait up for you at night - I would at least try ...

I could cook something great for you but you'd have to promise to eat it

I could have lunch with you whenever I wanted to - my pick of course

I wish for all these things but, I'm so glad to even have you in my life for there was a time when I didn't and I dont know how I made it without you. I thought of you more often than not and that night on your birthday I had to call and hear your voice or that would have been the end of me -
I couldn't be without you any longer.
