When I see young people kiss
I recall so long ago that feeling of bliss They know not how precious that feeling Which now I truly do miss
I wish I could go back to that day and she was in my arms like before To kiss my pain away
True love I should have never traded for empty kisses untrusting that has left me so jaded
There seems never to be a love as true as the first love that reached through to you
So when I see teenagers kiss I envy their bliss and inside feel remiss
Because I know they're bound to make the same mistake overlooking love, their heart will break
Someday maybe a kiss will again be a kiss that I can feel inside my heart and know again true love's bliss
So if you're young and in love true this is what you must do Love with your whole heart through
Love is a special gift Do not neglect it or its spell may lift
