 | If I got left behind by a train going home, Then I'll just say goodbye to you in this poem. I'd regret that I'll have to go and leave you behind, For I'm not ready yet to go for sometime.
It's hard to turn your back to the person you love, It's even harder to watch them from up above. As they struggle to move on in life without you, And you know in your heart that they are feeling blue.
You watched them smile in a brittled way, As they moved on from day to day. You heard them say that they are just fine, You saw them drunk their way to oblivion with a potent wine.
It's so hard to believe that a man is telling the truth, When you know that you would lie if you were in his shoe. But what can you do, what can you possibly say, When you are already gone, when you already passed away.
Oh life is so short so live it the best way, For we all would die and no one could stay. It's just a matter of time and there is no turning back, So kiss each and every person you love with a smack.
For the train might go now while you're busy somewhere, It would leave you behind, it would caught you unaware. You might find yourself in a place without light, And you could never return no matter how much you tried. | |
