I went die on that cruel cross
To prevent you from being totally lost.
But what did you do, or what did you say?

I rose again to life
So that you might walk in newness of light.

I have gone to prepare a place for you
And have sent the comforter to guide you through.
But what did you do, or what did you say?

What can I do?, or what can I say? you asked
It seems as if you have been given a terrible task!
But all I want for you to do, is to say
I appreciate You!
