We're just the same

You have a hundred dress
While mine is a mess.
You walk with glittering shoes
I walk in bare foot.

You have three Mansion
With a bathtub and a shower.
And we live under the bridge
there's a bathtub when it rains.

Your jewelry is a pearl
My bracelet is a rubber.
Chanel is your perfume
and Oil is mine.

"How are you" you asked
I don't understand what you said,
"dumb brain" then you laughed
Sorry, my knowledge is not enough.

You eat nutritious food
You also had an aircon in your house
You study in the school you want
yes, I know your rich.

My friend, I apologize for being poor
I try my hardest to earn myself a food
And God's love
Is my only treasure....

Your friend has a problem: Jealousy!!

The rich are not inherently evil and the greatest riches they too could have is God's love. But God might be upset with your friend. It is no crime to be either rich or poor. But it is poor is spirit to Covet Thy Neighbor's Goods...

Regardless of faith the message is bound to be similar.

You have a ragged frayed dress
while my closet is overflowing with the finest
you walk barefoot on dirt
and my shoes are many, and the best

You have a bathtub and a shower
But I have a mansion with many baths
while your showere only when it rains
I sit in bubble baths to sooth minor aches and pains

Your bracelet is made from twine
Mine is of ecrusted diamonds fine
You touche up your face with baby oil
my beautician pampers and perfects mine

You asked me how it is up here
and I said fine...how is it in squallor?
and you called me a elitist
and you scampered to grab it when I dropped a dollar

You have nothing you believe
you're beside yourself its so unfair
that I have the things you want you say
and have my pick and choice of things today

But I know life is ficled and can change
and if it should rearrange I wouldn't be bitter like you
becuase money and privlidge should not define me and you
what's more is the things you feel, and believe and do

Who put this jealousy and contempt inside of you?
Was it your God who inspired this in you?
I see my self as just a person, no better or worse than you
Why do you then are you jealous of me and the things I do?

I think God does not judge a person by rich or poor
what what is in their heart and soul and nothing more
and of you I see jealousy and little more
than the things I posess of which I need less and you want more

Good Day to you......for you really are "poor"
Poor in spirit and not just in things
If we trade places you can have my homes and rings
and I'll still be happy for God's love and in the little things.

hello! i think she's jealous because she can't have a fucking bath and sleeps outside on the ground.
i think warrants a right to jealousy.
and come one people, we know poverty is a problem and we should be educated enough to know that it is often not anyone's fault but circumstance!

yes we are all still human, and it's only circumstance's fault that the rich are rich also.
but let's have some understanding between all of us, and people that are in a position to help should be helping those in a position of need. that's just the way things work.
