We Were Only Young

Everything about us felt so right
I never thought that we would lose the fight


No second thoughts were troubling my mind
Who’d have thought I’d leave it all behind?


I really thought our love was meant to be
It was perfect, so I really didn’t see


That we were only young
Making promises for fun


So how was I to know?
Our love, I’d soon outgrow

im really feelin this even though its short and sweet it explains everything. me & my boyfriend jus broke up after 7 months. we were both young him being 18 and im 17 but bein with him is an experience ill never forget.
